This building is one of several known as the Toronto Carpet Factory, which is a full city block in size and was originally built as a carpet manufacturing facility between 1899 and the 1920s. The buildings are clustered around internal courtyards and laneways. They feature high ceilings, exposed brick and beams with large, operable windows.
